With several years of expertise, we support thousands of local businesses. Their growth is our success!
We always strive toward diversifying our economy and strengthening our community through new ideas.
Our History
Edgerton was formerly part of the Northwest Territory. The Village of Edgerton was formed on December 4, 1865, and was titled after the industrious American Lands Company agent Alfred P. Edgerton.
After WWII, the Edgerton Area Chamber of Commerce (formerly the Edgerton Businessmen’s Association) was created. The objective of the Edgerton Chamber of Commerce is to improve the cultural and economic well-being of Edgerton. We serve as a clearinghouse for ideas, activities, and information that are put into action.
What We Do
The Chamber of Commerce has supported events such as the annual Homecoming festival and the Easter egg hunt on the Park View Nursing Center grounds.
Edgerton remains a community where people care about one another. It is home to the Edgerton Area Foundation, the local Boy Scouts, and many other civic and service organizations. Edgerton can look forward with confidence, knowing that its citizens are prepared to face any challenges that may arise. We are responsible for making the town feel like home. Edgerton will continue to add good memories and positive growth to its history by remaining united and unwavering in its resolve.
Our Story
Edgerton residents have a strong sense of belonging. The importance we place on education is one example of this. Edgerton has a thriving business community that prides itself on attracting clients from all across the county and beyond. The number of cars parked on the main street on a routine business day in our town demonstrates how vital our local business owners are to the community. Although the economic foundation of Edgerton is predominantly agricultural, some employers play an important part in diversifying our economy.
Our Objective
On a local, county, and state level, we are committed to being an ambassador for our members and the business community. We aim to enable economic development programs in our area and support local tourist projects and activities.
Every year, we work extremely hard at the Chamber of Commerce to assist our members in achieving all of their organizational objectives. We evaluate our success by the success of our members.
