Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest Chamber member, the YWCA Rock County! We are excited to have them as part of the Edgerton Area Chamber of Commerce community.
For more than 100 years, YWCA Rock County has worked to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Their impact across Rock County is significant, providing critical services and programs that support individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult challenges. From domestic violence support services and emergency advocacy to child advocacy through CARE House, immigrant outreach, racial justice initiatives, and early childhood education, YWCA Rock County is deeply committed to strengthening and uplifting our communities.
The Chamber recently had the privilege of attending YWCA Rock County’s annual Women of Distinction event, an inspiring evening celebrating women, young women, businesses, and organizations making a meaningful difference across Rock County. Since 1975, the event has honored individuals who demonstrate leadership, service, integrity, and a commitment to advancing opportunities for women and girls. The event also serves as an important fundraiser supporting YWCA Rock County’s domestic violence programs.
YWCA Rock County also continues to offer impactful community programming and events throughout the year, including advocacy and education initiatives, Courageous Conversations, and community centered programming that advances equity, safety, and opportunity for all.
We are excited to welcome YWCA Rock County to the Chamber and look forward to supporting their mission and the important work they do throughout our region!
One thing that has stood out right away is their collaborative spirit and commitment to community partnership.
